01How ADRS works

From a search box to a fiduciary plan, in five steps.

ADRS turns public DOL Form 5500 filings into a dealership-specific benchmark. Here's what each screen means — and how to use it.

02The flow
01

Search any dealership

Type a dealership, dealer group, city, or state. ADRS matches it to its public Department of Labor Form 5500 filing — the same data your plan sponsor files every year.

02

Read the benchmark scorecard

Employer and participant contributions per participant, plan assets per participant, and all-in admin cost — each ranked against national, state, franchise, and similar-size peer cohorts drawn from 13,000+ dealership filings.

03

Understand the gate

Below-median values are never published. They're blurred for non-members and routed to a Fiduciary Positioning Consultation — your ranking is yours alone, not a public criticism.

04

Download the report

A clean, paginated PDF of your scorecard, peer position, and cost benchmark — branded and ready to share with your CFO, HR lead, or advisor.

05

Monitor for drift

Paid monitoring watches your plan quarterly — flagging percentile drops, fee creep, and recordkeeper changes — so nothing slips between filings.

03Reading the scorecard

Employer / Participant

What the dealership contributes per active employee. Higher signals a stronger talent-retention tool.

Participant / Participant

What employees defer on average. Reflects plan engagement and auto-enrollment design.

Plan Assets / Participant

Total savings per participant. A proxy for long-term accumulation health.

Admin Cost / Participant

All-in administrative expenses per active participant. Lower is better.

Admin Cost (bps)

Admin expenses as basis points of plan assets — a size-normalized fee lens.

Fee-to-Outcome Ratio

Employer dollars generated per $1 of admin spend — value for money.

Cohorts with fewer than 10 valid peers report "Insufficient peer data" — no synthetic rankings are produced. NULL values render as "—"; a filed 0 renders as "$0".

04The gate

Signal to coach, not spectacle to publish.

A below-median plan isn't a public failing — it's a consultative entry point. ADRS never publishes a lagger's numbers. Instead, below-median values are blurred for non-members and routed to a Fiduciary Positioning Consultation, where a real advisor turns the signal into a plan.
